It is frigthening the frequency which these cashier checks for auto scams are coming out. I'm sure you all have seen the Nigerian 419 scam letters. Now check out this site:

This guy has collected stuff where some people have actually scamed the scammers. Funny stuff. I of course do not recommend anyone do this to the car-cashier-check-scammers. But it certainly would be amusing to see some revenge.

Why is it that scammers seem to have such p!ss poor spelling. You'd think it would lend some credibility to their story if they could spell 'Thanks' properly and maybe...just maybe use proper grammar?

I just sold my CL-S on autotrader and must have had 20-30 similar type offers. It is always for their "client" and the payment method is strange. I can't believe people have fallen for this.
