If its 40 degrees and below outside car wont crank

So heres my dilema....
Every day my car cranks perfectly, but lately in houston its been about 40 degrees outside when i get up for work. When i go to my car it doesnt start, it cranks and cranks till the battery fall dead if needed lol but no start.
Perfect story
I wake up today at 4am to be at work by 5am and i go outside to crank the car and its about 35 degrees crank but no start. I get home at 2pm its about 48 degrees now and it fires right up. Its been doing this lately so i go ahead and start my backup car knowing that my infiniti wont start on real cold mornings. Ive even tried jumping it with another car to see if it was my battery just cranked but never starts. Like its getting no fuel, i hear the fuel pump when i turn the key but no start. I have a 05 g35 coupe manual.
Any Ideas.
Before the comment "Put it in the garage" comes, I stay in apartments and i would hate to pay an extra 100 a month for a garage for this problem.

Quick Notes
40 degrees and below outside car wont start. 45 degrees and up outside fires right up.

Not sure if it would help you, might wanna try putting a Bottle of Gas Anti-freeze in your gas thank.

It shouldnt freeze but its just weird that it works good when the temperature is warmer :S

I live in Austin and I haven't been having this problem but I know of friends and family who have had similar problems it turned out to be there Battery, you know since Texas weather is so unpredictable it goes from 30deg to 70deg over night this can mess with your battery. You might not notice any diff. when you turn the key but what is happening is the battery is not sending enough juice, try getting it tested.

It's the battery. Probably getting too old and not being about to put out enough cold cranking amps. 35-40 is really not that cold to have any affect on the fuel.

Cheap Solution for battery
1. Autozone free testing on batterys
2. Just curious but have you checked your cables to see if they are getting any kind of spark. (Tool-Timing light) Or you could just unplug one of the cables and put a philip screw driver to the tip of the cable to see if it is getting any spark.
3. Tell your G a bed time story then put a blanket over it before you got to bed. LOL
