upgrading headlights?

yeah, i'd stay away from anything above 6000k. but to each his own. if you live in place where you know you'll get pulled over and want to deal with that hassle then go on ahead if it makes you happy with your car.

This is a pic with the factory bulbs, but the 12000K bulbs are the same color as the corner light and parking light that you see here.

moving to a 6000K bulb will be actually be about 10% less bright than an OEM bulb @ 4300K. Move to a 12000K bulb and you're looking at over 30% less lumens than oem.

Well here's the pic of the 12000K bulb, doesn't seem purple to me as someone else mentioned.

park in front of a wall and take a pic of the wall. it will glow purple. they dont look purple as you look into them and the true color is near impossible to capture on camera. 12000k is purple for sure in my book.

I have 5,000's in my new 06 lights.. they arent brighter just look better.. they give it a more of a blue tint..

I do park in front of a wall..and its the same color.

trust me man its nowhere near purple, 15000K is purple not 12000...hell I'll take a pic during the day and show you as well.

Easily the best upgrade if you have an '05. Made a world of difference when I put mine in.

when I went from stock to 8000k, visability seemed to be decreased in heavy rain. I then went to 5000k, it was better. But like someone already said, the brightness (lumens) decreases as you move away from 4300k.

go with 6000k that what i used, 6000k make your light look white and blue and make your car SEXY
