Where does the water go?
Where does the water go?
I had the driver's side door skin replaced on my car (yup, part of the window rolldown breakin hassle) a few months back...Didn't notice it at the time, but there's a small gap between the rubber trim and the driver's side glass...Looking from the outside & with the window up, the gap is between the black weatherstrip trim (found at the base of the window) and the driver window...
Obviously, the trim should be flush with the glass so water or anything else doesn't drop in...In my case though, will anything that seeps in, drain out? I would think that even with a good seal between trim and glass some amount of water will make it's way through, just wondering if I need to get this fixed asap...
any help appreciated...

Re: Where does the water go?
there are holes at the bottom of the door cavity to allow water to drain out, if you get rust proofing sometimes it plugs these holes up and you need to clear them out.
