I need help and opinions with mods!!!

so i have basically a stock G and i've been wanting to mod but havent had the money... i finally managed to get 800 or so bucks... any suggestions... i really wanna lower my car(i want coils but since im on a budget right now im thinking springs, and i have to think about camber kits for the front and back)...i want the drop to be flush with the tire or tucking a little bit... other than that i really want the kuruma Z front bumper... projector headlights... and a sub and amp... i just wanted to hear what you guys have to say like what i should do first with the 800 or what brands of each part you guys prefer or give me the best outcome im looking for... thanks

Save some more. Use the search button also. There are a ridiculous amount of threads with the same redundant question. Go to the marketplace and you can score some decent used items for a fair price.

Honestly, to drop that low the only option imo are coilovers. I've had many cars before and have lowered them all and it's always been a tug of war between ride height and trying not to scrap on every single surface and trying not to have the crappiest ride on earth. With my G35 coupe I finally decided on trying coilovers ( I have H&R's ) and I will NEVER EVER turn back. I'm almost on the verge of tucking my tires yet my car rides better than my previous G35 Sedan did with Tanabe springs and Tokico DSP shocks and it rides better than any car I've ever had when lowered on springs and shocks.

The best part is that is that you can buy H&R coilovers BRAND NEW for about $800 shipped ( I see them on ebay all the time ). Best bang for the buck by far imo.

if you don't care for adjusting ride height you can get pretty low with 350z S tech springs. What year is your car Auto or stick?

you dont want to lower the car if you are planning on getting a front kit soon. IT is better to get the front kit then lower so you see for sure how much room you are going to have. you can probably get a nice bumper and it painted for about $800. You could also do a decent sounds system for $800. Lastly, you could do a decent exhaust system for the same price.

If you want to drop it, save for some coilovers. Do it right the first time....

Take that $800 and buy:

1. MD 5'16" spacer $260
2. Hotchkis sways $325
3. Used Z tube $50
4. K&N drop in filter $40
Total $675

That way you address performance, handling, and sound early on and have $125 to put towards saving for coils.

If I started all of this over again, these are the first 4 mods I would have done.

he's gonna need an MREV2 to go with that spacer...otherwise you're throwin away $$ for marginal performance on his revup.
