Re: G35 IN GERMANY

The locals pay about 3 times as much for fuel as I do. We can fill on military installations and we can also buy coupons for fuel on the economy. I only run 93+ Octane and its about $35.00 to fill the tank. Let's just hope that there is an Esso station close by when I travel! A buddy of mine just made the mistake of filling up his "pig" SUV before making sure he had enough coupons! Cost him $130.00+ to fill his Tahoe. OUCH. It is really wild to see a German guy driving his V12 or American SUV and figuring what the guy pays for fuel a year. Most of these pukes have so much $$$$ that it just doesn't matter.

Re: G35 IN GERMANY

I just returned from (Dusseldorf) Germany....I hit up a few other cities along the way....and of course, headed out to Amsterdam, NL while I was out that way!

;-)

Definitely alot of fun checking out the different areas....I would definitely like to head back again...very soon.

Cheers!

There's actually 2 black ones in the K-town area...I know one of the guys. I have an Ivory Pearl 6MT and I'm in K-town too. I'm constantly getting looks. Some people practically have wrecks trying to speed up and get a closer look. It's pretty funny.

I wish I had the coupe in Germany... Last time we drove 250km/h on the Autobahn with the 330ci. I am going back next summer for sure.

Re: G35 IN GERMANY

You know what I found interesting while over there? During the daytime, almost everyone observes the posted speed limits (100-120 km/hr). But, at nite, it's no holds bar!!

Also, while I saw my fair share of BMWs and MBs, the majority of cars are econoboxes.....obviously for fuel efficiency (considering 1.20 euros/liter), but also for easy parking. Plus, I love how there are three (legitimate) types of street parking depending on the signs that are posted:

1) typical, normal street parking (entire car on the street)
2) half car on the curb/sidewalk, half car on the street
3) entire car on the curb/sidewalk

Gotta love it!

Re: G35 IN GERMANY

MojoDr, Stillen makes superchargers, not Twin Turbos. If you have the cash get FI. Get the Stillen Stage 2 kit with the warenty to be the safest. The stage 3 (which has the most HP) dosen't have a warenty. If you're knowledgable about cars and don't care about long term effects. Get NO2 or a TT kit (if you have the money) and boost that sucker till boost is extinct.

Thanks - Joey Avino

Re: G35 IN GERMANY

Jonze, Mojo....Guten Morgan from Wurzburg.....I'm waiting to order an 05 coupe, 6MT, prem, 4 pc aero as soon as pricing is out. Couple of questions:
Who is your insurance with?...AIG is $1550 per yr.
Spoke with a Nissan dealer at Kitzigen, they weren't sure what the G was, but said if it's like the Z they could work on it, but, they wouldn't honor warranty work. What do you guys do about warranty work and do you go to the Nissan dealer?

Thanks

Lol Guten Morgen

Anyways man it's funny how we drove the same top speed as the M3's. Gotta watch out for those Audi's they are not just quick, but they got some wicked top speed for being stock. Germany is crazy man, I wanna go back already.

Peace

Chris

Bradda Chris.......this is amazing that the first guy to respond to my question, is from Hawaii........so am I!...just supporting our troops over here.......it is simply amazing to watch cars passing me by like I'm standing still......and it's not just one at a time...it can be several at a time on each others okele.....

Anywho....I cant stand waiting for the pricing on the 05...I'm talking to dealers on the East coast...once I can find one to deal with....I plan to fly there...inspect it, sign the papers and put it on the boat........at least that's the plan

I'm not really sure what my insurance is on the G. I have 2 cars, a motorcycle + renter's insurance on the same policy. I just got my car over here so I haven't had to do any warranty work yet. Looks like I'll be hitting up a Nissan dealer too.

I'll be sure to wave than I'm in Munich right now, and will be here for a week. I haven't seen any G's or Infinitis so far. Heck, the only Nissan product I've seen so far, is the Titan. Does Nissan use the Infiniti name in Germany? Just curious. I was hoping to see some R34 skylines or something, like when I was visiting Korea a few months ago.

I called my wife, and she informed me, she's driving around in my G right now, because her TL just blew a head gasket . First the tranny, and now this... I'm never buying a Honda product ever again.... Maybe I'll look into the new M35/45 next instead of the new RL.

My rims also still haven't arrived yet, and it's been a month .
