ive just been looking at Authentic HKS exhaust and Fake HKS Replicas.
and found this pic.

My HKS i just purchased looks like an authentic HKS but the location of the bars looks like its a XO2 or replica.

CAN ANYONE WITH A REAL HKS Exhaust please take a Pic so i can see if the HKS i just purchased is REAL!

The exhaust is real! I wouldn't sell you a fake hks x02 crap and say it was real. Once you install it, the fitment is dead on also, I have a friend with the x02 and the fitment sucks on it. It rubs on his sway bar and a few other places.

I miss my exhaust already. My car is so damn quiet now

the fitment doesn't suck on the x02.....the reason it is rubbing is because the person that installed it sucked. lol

these exhausts are the same minus the extensions and the tips

Hi everyone. I recently joined this site and I love it. So informative and well put togethor. I've done several mods so far to my G from looking through the DIY section and can't wait to do some more. I've looked at every thread started about the HKS about whether it being real or a replica. From the info I gathered the real HKS's have the welded caps and the more bluish exhaust tips. From that I'm assuming my exhaust is the real deal but one thing from the comparison to the XO2 that has me stumped is that someone mentioned the metal bar that holds the upper part is alot closer to the cap than the XO2 but mine is more in the middle but that could be due to my car being a G35. If anyone can just confirm that mine is real by looking at the pictures I've posted I would appreciate it. Thanks
