Sh;t, try $150 in an F150 with heavy *** 22s. My G is a godsend of $50 a tank instead of $150

Problem is a lot of people here either drive like total asswipes or fail to properly calculate their fuel economy. They don't understand just how much fuel remains when the light illuminates and proceed to fill 13 gallons when the car is rated with a 19.8 gallon tank.

Imagine if these people filled up properly when or near the car is actually empty then calculated, I'm sure the majority of 50/50 drivers would be seeing 300ish MPG. I imagine 400 miles to a tank as easily achievable with plenty of highway cruising.

Short trips, your retarded foot/lack of awareness when driving + improperly maintained cars are the biggest culprits. That and the fact that it is a 3400+ pound car with a motor designed for truck like torque and you get the picture.

Besides, even if you purchased a different car that averaged 5mpg more you'd be sacrificing driving pleasure for fuel economy. Just look at the extra $4-600 a year in gas as a "driving a car I enjoy fee."

Yes these threads **** me off. Hey! I bought a car with low EPA estimates and now I'll complain!

Amen brotha, sounds like a lot of these poor mileage posts are made by young guys who cant budget their money and didnt think about gas money when buying the car or by spoiled little kids who had mommy and daddy buy their G35 and now cant afford to drive it, let alone pay for it or insurance on it.

... maybe you aren't used to driving the car yet, or you drive like a dick. I'm driving my car constantly in city traffic and I can push a tank to 325-330 miles, but my first week I only got maybe 250 miles out of that first tank.

I drive about 50% city, 50% highway. I've had the car for a few weeks and I've been getting 320-350mi per tank. MAKE SURE YOU USE 91+ octane fuel. I fill mine with premium which is 93 at the station I go to. My car runs smooth as butter I love it

Unless you're driving with a real heavy foot somethings going on... that is pretty low.

I typically get anywhere from 350-400 miles per tank (mixture of city and highway) depending on how spirited my driving is

Gotchaa. You should upgrade so you can run higher boost man, seriously. The s4 was at about 12 stock, and I chipped it up to 17, the difference is unbelievable.
