mine differs. I get between 17 and 24mpg. I drive 1/2 highway and 1/2 city about 45 miles round trip but it depends on traffic on the beltway.

Wow, I get like 430-440 miles per tank.

Try running some sea foam thru your car. Maybe your injectors are junked up.

I havent clocked it exactly yet. I am doing half tank intervals to determine which fuel it runs better on, either Shell V-power or Sunoco ultra 93 and I seem to get two round trips to work and back with a half a tank which is about 120-125 miles

Was I seriously the *ONLY* one who noted that he was filling up to the halfway mark and trying to judge gas mileage by that?

Everyone is trying to tell him there's something wrong with his car. In reality there's something wrong with his math: he uses none.

And yes, paragraphs are your friend; please use them.

Since new, I've never seen much better than 17mpg (maybe 18 if I'm really stretching it) in 100% hilly suburban stop-and-go traffic light driving (<9 mi commute each way). Most of the time it's closer to 16mpg so I don't think the OP's experience is that unusual, though with mostly highway driving, it should be higher for the OP.

From what I've read and heard, V6 motors take a good 5-10 minutes to get up to proper operating temp, especially in the cold, and with my short commute, that kills my mileage right there. I don't drive particularly aggressively around town either.

ha ha! Welcome to the guzzler club... I almost got crucified by posting about about this car being a gas guzzler. Don't worry, its normal.
