I was thinking about painting a set of OEM 19s so I did a little bit of photoshopping. I picked some of the most common colors that people tend to chose or consider. I'm including 2 diagrams, one with the whole car and one with just the back wheels. Let me know what you guys think. The images became a bit lossy after uploading them, so they don't look as legit as the original tiff images.

 

darkgray/smoke, or bronze if these r your choices, but i'd go glossy black powder coat

 

Yea I ain't liking any of them besides the darkgray/smoke. I myself have oem 19's powder coated gloss black.

 

I have em in dark gunmetal gray, bronze doesn't look bad I'd never seen it

 

grey or dupicolor bronz look best.

Thanks for doing this, it's interesting to see what the various colours would look like. Does anyone think Metallic Green would be a little too much on my EM sedan? A smoke/grey/gunmetal might go nice, though.

The neon colors remind of of civic owners that paint their wheel a tacky bright color lol

Honestly wayne, Ashley and myself have done some photo shop ideas with a colourmatched lip/TA strip on gunmetal/black and it looks amazing on our colour. I really think it would bring you an entirely new love to your rays 19"s. Maybe some neo chrome lugs too


OP; all of those look terrible, except the gun metal and bronze. In the marketplace there is some gold ones with a silver lip, check those out for a better idea. They're on a white IP ZR

 

i think the bronze looks cool. but i like them black powder coated myself.

 

Yeah, I actually already picked bronze before I even made the charts. I was just curious to see what all the colors would look like, and I wanted to give other people some ideas. I'm not a big fan of black, the murdered-out look on a coupe is a little boring in my opinion. If anybody wants any other color, let me know, I can make any color chop for you in about a min or two.
