well, i finally got my black double din kit in and installed as you can see from the pics. but the one thing i'm missing is a bezel that goes around my head unit. the head unit doesn't come with anything that fits this and the JDM DD didn't come with anything either. what do most of you guys do? do you just leave a gap there or did you make your own bezel. any insight would be greatly appreciated.

 

I had the same problem with a previous car I had. What I ended up doing was buying some black rubber tubing that was no thicker than a drinking straw, and just stuffing it in around the player. It looked great, like it belonged there. Looks like you can try the same thing.

Question I have for you is, does your dual climate button work? From what I read they don't work unless you wire it up yourself on the 03-04. Thats the only reason I don't want to swap to an aftermarket HU setup.

 

thanks for the tip. i'll try that and see how it works. as far as the dual climate, yes it does work. i followed the exact steps of the DIY on here and it worked like a charm. getting the dual climate button off was the hardest part and i actually broke one of the tabs. but since the button is held up by the switch behind it then it wasn't a problem at all. so definitely upgrade.
