valve problem need help :(

Hello,

guys before 2 weeks i found tht am driving my car and the oil was very low in the engine which caused a crazy noice in the engine.

i change the oil and everythng is fine after that, but since 2 weeks i have a sound in the engine which i have checked with so many garages and they told me that its the value which is making this noice and it cannot be fixed as the values in the car is automatic (thats what i was told) the also they told me that its not a big deal and i can drive the car.

Noice sound like clicking from the right side of the car and it increases when i hit the gas.

anyhow is that normal or will it affect the engine???

please advice what to do.

cheers,

what they mean is that it has hydraulic lifters which are non adjustable. It seems you are describing a bent valve stem which will cause more play at the tip of valve stem which will cause a clicking sound. You would need to pull off that valve cover and turn engine over by hand to check for clearance at top of each valve stem. the bent one will have clearance between it. Before I would do all of that I would run a quart of Rislone through it for about a week as it maybe a sticky hydraulic lifter and this will free it up.
