05-06 cluster upgrade on an 04?
I tried looking around but didnt find any answers to my question! Can i put an 05-06 AT cluster in my 04 AT? Doest it fit right ? Is it a just bolt up and go or do i have to change plugs so on? Can anyone help? Thanks
i've been waiting for someone to provide me a wiring diagram for a long time on how to do it. i have the gauge cluster and pigtail waiting. but since the 03 and 05 are wired differently i've put this project on hold.
^^
You NEED to search around. There are I think two or three threads on this forum alone that have wiring diagrams drawn up and posted. I'll try to find the one that I was looking at last night.
IMO this looks like a LOT more work than it is worth. In the end all you get are bubbled out gauges, milage on the display from the other car it was on, and quoted 8+ hours of work. I've put a lot of thought into it and it's just not worth it.
But if you have already purchased the parts I would say go for it. The milage being different would drive me crazy though.
EDIT:
Here's the link.. It's explained in detail in post #259. Read through that thread and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
