Im looking at another prospect g35 to purchase but had a quick maybe a dumb question. Its labeled as an 05 and the paint code is b21 which is athen's blue and that was only made in 05 and newer how-ever the manufacturer date says 10/04...does that mean its an 04? or it was produced in 04 but its the 05 model?

either way its in amazing shape and only has 16,000 miles on it', im just trying to find out more info on it, i appreciate the information guy's

 

it should be an 05...the only way to make sure id to run the vin #

 

production date for 05 were 07/04 - 06/05.

 

its an 05 model sold in 04. thats all there is to it

 

Also check the interior, if it's updated, it's an 05.

 

interior... if its ugly, its the 03 or 04 haha

Look at the stereo, if it says "MP3" on it then its an 05.

 

what r u talking about. i love my 03 interior... especially with my 05 clock upgrade.

 

Think about it. They start advertising and selling the next year's cars in the late summer and fall of the previous year. Never really understood that but, oh well!

Look at the vin its the 10th digit

If its 05 it will say 5.

 

i been searching on how to do that but i havent been able to find it... is there a DIY guide? and what has to be changed in order to do that? all help is appreciated. thanks
