2004 seats vs 2006?

I was wondering what is the difference between both for the coupe besides the save position feature. I really hate my 2004 coupe seats it feels like sitting on some truck.

We must not have the same leather seats, when adjusted right for me they're so comfortable I could go to sleep....not a good idea when driving.

I believe the only difference is that there is a holster for the seatbelt on the shoulder of the seat and also a small button on the back of the seat to electronical move the seat forward and back for rear seated passengers.

Can 06 seats be put in an 03\04? Will they work correctly?

that won't be cheap, i've been hearing about some guys having to replace there seats because of something getting caught in the rails...sounded like the seats were in the thousands, at that point in time you might as well get a newer g35

The 05+ seats also have a known tearing issue.

You can pick up 05+ seats at junkyards--I agree that they looked better when new, but they seem to age the same as the 04s, and they tend to tear.

The leather in all of the G seats is just OK. None of them are great.

I have an 04 coupe and my drivers seat has torn too... tearing problem doesn't end at the 05+.

I dont think it does, but I can only compare an 03 sedan to an 06 coupe.

No one has listed any difference between the '04 and '06 seats. They both have the button on the back to allow the seat to move forward giving the passengers easy access, and both recline almost flat. Quality of leather, all seats wear....mine too.
