whats the difference with "v35" and "350GT"?

I own German performance cars... I just bought a G35... I like the G35... thank you...bye now.

 

v35 is its designation in the skyline heritage. Sort of like how corvettes are called C5 and now C6. Same withe the Z car. The 300zx was Z32 and the 350z is the Z33. Not sure what the 350GT is for. I think in japan the cars require an extra designation than just make and model? Obviously it has something to do with the 3.5 VQ, but no one refers to it as the 350gt. Just the skyline coupe.

V35 is the name of the platform, and 350GT is the model of the Skyline. The sedan also comes in a 300GT and a 250GT, with a 3 Litre VQ and a 2.5 Litre VQ. (All V6)... I think the coupe is only offered as a 350GT and 350GT Premium.
