noob questions please help (PIC UPDATE)

Hello all i just got my 2006 G coupe 6MT on Saturday 1/30 yay!!!
I assume i have the "rev-up" engine....Whats the signifiance?
Whats my hp raiting? is it 280 or 298?

Does it say REV on your instrument cluster(easiest way of telling)? If so you have a Rev UP.

^ actually the easiest way to tell is the fact it's standard and an 06....

Welcome to Driver Gee Money....!

Congratulations and Welcome to Driver! All G35s with MT came with the REVUP motors from '05 thru '07. Only issue with those years was ring failure, watch your dip stick on a weekly basis. Not all engines had this issue and I'm not even sure what percentage did? Enjoy your new ride, we all do....
