Noob Question
I'm looking at wheel and tire packages on craigslist but how do I know if they will fit on my stock 2003 g35? This is deffinitly a stupid question but everyone on here seems knowledgable on theese cars. Im getting mine tommorow.
I want either 19's or 20's and I don't know what offset yet. Havn't found the exact wheels. Looking for 2 tone wheels (primary color black) either 19 or 20 with tires. Trying to find some used ones but no luck so far.
Here are the ones I'm lookin at right now, tell me what you think.

Those may work well for a sedan but if you have a coupe, I suggest going with staggered sizes for the front and rear.

defiantly go with staggered since you have a coupe..
I dont know if I would considered that set bc of the one wheel..
That estimate may be the sellers guesswork..
I havent heard good things about wheel repairs like that.
there seems to always be more money involved..
keep looking for a set in good condition - i would recommend a 9.5 in front and 11 in the rear if you can find it...
let me know if you find another set your interested in..

Staggered is a preference, not a necessity as others have insinuated. As long as it clears the caliper you're fine. While staggered may look VERY nice, you then need to realize that your wheels/tires cannot be quickly rotated. They would need to remove the actual tire from each wheel and rotate the tires themselves, which may incur extra cost from a tire shop locally (if you buy them online).
And to add to my previous post, that's assuming you have the same size tires on both sets of wheels (which most don't, ie. wider on rear). At that point since your front tires wear more than the rear (not to mention any camber/alignment problems) you'll be buying new front tires rather at half to a third of the time it will take to replace your rear tires. Luckily the G35 isn't AWD.. that'd suck for tire buying.
