Sorry its been so long since the last update. The new prototype is finally done and I just picked it up today. It's now bent and it looks like this will be the final prototype. All it needs now is a bracket. I already have the design done for it so I just need to write up a program and send it to my machinist. I also switched machinists once again, so I'm hoping everything will move faster now. I also changed the cap design somewhat. It now has a longer chamfer and no longer square anymore. I think I like it better but I will get some pics up soon so you guys can decide

 

Okay guys, this is almost ready. There have been a number of setbacks but I should have the final prototype within a week. Within 2-3 weeks, these should be for sale I will get some pictures of the prototype as soon as I can. Since there really isn't anything else to update you guys on, I'll give you a teaser of something else I've been working on.

It's a hose clamp similar to the Pi-thon clamps.

 

nice. i hope you dont overcharge us on those clamps..
I hate seeing retail $10 pi-thon locks going for $25 + USED just because its not in production anymore..

 

hows this coming along? I may be interested in the polished washer bottle tub along with some of those clamps once they become avaialble

Hey guys, sorry about the delay and lack of updates. I've been extremely busy lately with other projects but the wiper tube is pretty close. There have been a few changes since my last update, the major one being that all joints will most likely be welded instead of bent. Currently, the jig is being fabricated and should be ready soon. Price is TBD right now. I'm hoping to have these ready to go for Christmas, a final date will be announced soon Pictures will be coming soon although I don't have a date for that yet.

 

Ahhh! The project is still alive and close to completion. Updated or final pics when you have a chance!

 

For sure I will continue to update this thread as it gets closer to completion. Nothing new yet but it's definitely getting very close.

 

talk to IB or mods so you can be a vendor and not be delayed in putting these up for sale.
