what part is this?

I noticed that there was a wind sound coming in through the passenger side window, which is apparently a common problem, so I took a look and noticed that this part was cracked. Can anybody help me out and find out what this part is and where to get a new one at?

Thanks

^^ eh...actually, i'm not sure if it's part of that cover. I'm thinking it's a moulding of some sort.

Yeah, I hear wind noise coming from my 05 as well. I should check mine. On another note, everytime I take the car in for a touchless car wash, water slightly comes in from the top rear of the passenger window. Wonder if anyone else has had that problem before. And if so does the weatherstripping need to be changed too? Sorry for the (slight) thread hijack.

Mine does the same thing so I ended up not taking my car to those type of car washes, now I only hand wash my car. I will be even more carefull since in the following months I am gonna retouch the painting since there are a couple of dents and I Got a beater car now for work.

I do only hand wash my cars, by the way, except in the winter time when I can't wash on my driveway. I don't even normally drive the G in the winter but sometimes I don't have a choice, but I get her washed right away as I dont want snow salt on her.
