Thread with drops?

Hey

I'm new to the scene and I've been searching around for about an hour or so looking for different drop heights applied to g35 coupes..

I'll be looking to drop mine soon and I just can't find anything on the subject. I know with my previous car the 1.5" drop was just not enough, but I'm sure the g will be a lot different.. I don't want to buy something and then figure out I can't drive around on a regular basis..

So yeah but I'm looking for something managable to drive around with (drop wise).

Can you guys refer me to somewhere to look?

*edit*

I found the g35 aftermarket coilver/spring stats thread, but i find it doesn't help me. i'd like a visual representation of the drops

aside from pics, one of the best things to do is to go to some meets and look at some rides. Talk to some owners and see what they have. You'll get a really good feel as to what you like. And if you're looking at coils, it really doesn't matter since they're height adjustable.

Hmm.. I'm more or less looking for springs and a strut setup.

If I go the coil way, which ones would you recommend without breaking the bank?

everything
Coilovers... problem solved... you can set the ride height to pretty much whatever you please.

Anything around $1000 or more will fit your needs

Classifieds here on Driver is a good place to start looking

I've been on Eibach Sportline springs for over two years and still enjoy the drop.
