OP if you look in the Socal forums, you'll see plenty of local shops that will do the 30k from ~$300 or so. I got my 30k service done a few weeks ago at Car Zone in SFV for $310 and they're Nissan/Infiniti techs.

R&D, Temple City, Car Zone, I think there's a few down your way that the OCG's like. Just poke around the Socal regional threads and the only way you'll get bent over by the dealerships is if you let them

 

I just did my 30k. Infiniti quoted me 700, but I went down the list of stuff they were going to do and cut out some of the stuff, like replacing wipers. Do you need your battery tested? Probably not. Ended up being 400 but I had them do a few extra things as well. Oh and got to do donuts in the loner in a mall parking lot. Bonus.
