Re: Fog Lights, Need help Plz

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with a Catz round driving light and incorporate it into the inside of the grill with brackets drilled into the metal bumper.

Does anyone know if the honey comb grill pops out? Or is it attached to the bumper?

well i dont have my car yet, but others (look at Ca_Kid's post) were saying that the grills are directly attached to the bumper and the only way to take them out is to cut it. so i would really like to put them in front without cutting the grills.

A suggestion would be to have someone custom fabricate a bracket for the lights you choose and dremel out only that are of the grill where you mount the lights. I am sure a high end audioo shop can fabricate a plastic grill like piece to make it look like the grill was designed for your lights. This way, your lights are still behind the grill (added theft security) and it will look super trick. It shouldn't be too expensive either!

Re: Fog Lights, Need help Plz

i did actually see someones black coupe on the forum that had a hole in the grills to fit the fogs exactly. it looked really nice but i dunno if car toys could do that. those car toys salesmans are idiots so i dunno about the install guys. i should get fog lights not driving lights right? what do guys think would look better. rectangular lights or circular? i saw something like this when i went to car toys.

car toys

btw i need some skooling in how to do markup. mainly making the url into a title. im not sure i did the above correctly. it didnt work in my first post.

Your link worked out fine. But, what's with this Car Toys outfit, where they will ship within 12 business days? That's two days into the third week. Are they just a web site front, and have no inventory at all? Have you ever delt with them?

ya im thinking if i put the lights in front of the grills i might get jacked so either behind or cutting holes in the grills. so rectangular or circular lights? personally i like the circlular looks, but some input might change my opinion. o ya there's also oval lights.
