Fog Lights, Need help Plz

hey guys, im getting an ' 05 coupe whenever the 6mts are out and i'm wanting to get some fog lights. i was looking at the veilside kit and i saw they had fog lights on it. i really like the setup, but i was wondering if they sell this piece. its a grayish piece, like a frame that keeps the fog lights in place. here's a pic. i want to get a set of piaa fog lights like these

I don't think anyone has found a way to get just those parts. The only place I have seen them is as part of the fog light kit. Unfortunately, the kit is REALLY expensive. It's like $1,600.00. And yes, I typed that correctly - One Thousand, Six hundred dollars. It's available at japanparts.com.

If you do find them, let us know...

hmm that is really expensive. do u think it would be safe or stable if car toys attaches them to the top part of that space?

Re: Fog Lights, Need help Plz

I have seen posts where people attached fog lights to the bottom of that space. I don't recall anyone doing it from the top. I don't think there is anything there to attach to (on the top). I'll try to look at my car later and see.

I can't tell from the car toys website if they are xenon or not, but I really doubt it. The only xenon fog lights I have seen are these other really expensive fog lights.

These are HID fogs and the price quoted is correct. Sorry for the bad news, but I have contacted japanparts.com several times and begged for them to sell me the plastic housing piece only from the kit. They refuse to sell that piece only.

Re: Fog Lights, Need help Plz

so what should i do? should i ask car toys to install it straight onto the bumper? it would make me feel better if they had that piece or something like it cuz those guys seem like idiots. it doesnt seem very stable drilled straight onto the bumper. if any of you guys know what to do or have any ideas, that would be great.

i dont have my car yet so i guess i got some time to think about it.

Re: Fog Lights, Need help Plz

ok i found something, this guy is named Ca_Kid on the forum. i kinda want something like this, but i probably wanna pop out the grilles for a cleaner look. i searched around and others were saying that HID fogs are useless. too bright i guess, kinda like high beams so it makes the fog worse. i kinda need fogs cuz its really dark in my neighborhood, they make me feel safer and plus they just look cool. im gonna see if i can pm this guy.

Re: Fog Lights, Need help Plz

The only way to remove those screens is to cut them out. Infiniti Parts Department does not show a separate item for them. They are manufactured as part of the front bumper. Your PM was recently answered.
