2003 G35 Noob "mod" questions
So I have owned my G35 for about 6 months, had all the regular maintenance done, but I want to start adding some "upgrades" if you will.
I was curious about the Plenum spacer and the MREV 2, being my G35 is not a rev-up motor from what I understand, will I see any worth while gains? Also what size spacer?
I looked at the Stillen exhaust, searched around a bit and it found this
http://www.stillen.com/media_files/a...0000000007.pdf
any truth to this article? how about opinions from other owners?
On youtube I found what seemed to be a custom shop "exhaust depo" and I really preferred the sound of that exhaust but it seems as though they no longer produce exhausts for the G35
Does anybody have recommendations for a test pipe? No laws Im aware of here, at least I never had trouble with the one on my previous vehicle
I also see infinti changed up the front valance on the 06+ G35 and I was curious if these would fit on an 03.
I could use some new mud guards (wheel aero) or whatever they are called, anyone have experience with the ebay ones?
Lastly, I don't enjoy the feel of the stock shift stick/**** any good options that compliment the interior?
Some info about my G-
2003, white (don't know specific color)

That color combination is a rare find. Very clean, Good amount of miles.
As for your questions:
1. MREV2 only gives the best gains with RevUp engines, since it is basically a ported Non-RevUp lower plenum. Also, the 5/16th gives the best gains in mid-range power, while 1/2 will give you a bit more HP on top of the rev range.
2. No idea about the exhaust.
3. Test pipes are test pipes. Simple straight pipes with O2 bungs. Go with any brand (maybe even Ebay ones - however these would probably have to be replaced within a few months), but from searching, a lot of owners go with Stillen, Berks, MotorDyne, etc.
3. Valence? As in the bumper or the lip? 06+ lights are a direct plug and play. However, the front lip is molded onto the bumper in 06+ sport package equipped cars. You can buy a generic, or name-brand, front lip anywhere from $130+ to $500, depending on style and composition material.
3. They're mud guards, just make sure they're painted right, they're plastic anyways.
4. Shift ***** are personal preference items. Some people like the Momo ones, but I always found them to be too round and oblong looking.
PS: The Brembo brakes are a pain to pay for during replacements every couple of months, and the door moldings can be taken off for a cleaner look.

Will I see anything from a MREV at all?

You mean the rubber seal at the bottom?
Also the rotors or the pads? I noticed my rotors are becoming worn

Very, very nice IP coupe! Since you don't have a REVUP motor ('05+years) all you need is MotorDynes 5/16" ISO spacer. This will allow you to keep the OE cover and no one will be aware of this mod. To compliment the spacer you'll need a K&N drop in filter and Z-Tube for added air flow. There are several short throw shifters on the market that'll make driving more fun. ***** are a matter of personal taste, do a SEARCH under shift ***** you'll see what I mean. Test pipes, hate to throw up a red flag but in most states it's illegal to remove your cats. Unless you're lucky enough to live in Florida where laws aren't enforced or maybe they don't exist....
Everything that I mentioned above is available thru Riverside Infiniti (sponsor) 800-919-8130.
