Eclipse
Finally someone wants to play around with my G. Here's the story. I went for an initial beer run, and as I'm pulling out of the parking lot, some chick, glances at me, revs her engine, and speeds out in front of me. I wasn't gonna take that crap from an '02 eclipse GT. So I followed her to the stop light. I pull up behind her, and rev my engine. I don't think she knew what she was getting into, but I saw her put her seat belt on. I turn my VDC off, and get ready. Light turns green, and I punch it. I was peeling out for about half a second, then i caught. As soon as she finished her turn, she took off. she pulled on me at first, about a full car length, but as soon as i shifted into 4th, i blew passed as my girlfriend waved, it was funny, but i was disappointed in myself. I thought it was my driving, since this was my frist race and all. So when i got home, my girlfriend told everyone, and one of her friends came up to me, and asked about the car. stuff like, was it a girl driving, did it have HIDs, did it have this and that, and i kept saying yes. He said he knew the girl and she had a 50 shot of NOS in it. I felt better about my driving, i just beat a car with NOS. and eclipses aren't that slow anyway. but if she had used it right, she would have kept the distance she had on me, or i would have blown by her at first, and she never would have caught up. hehe

RX-8
I'm driving down GA 400 going to a bar, and as I'm pulling up to a stop light, i get behind this RX-8. but before i stop, the light turns green, and he pulls on the car next to him with enough room for me to get in the other lane. As i pass him i'm doing about 60, and i then i slow down to see if he wants to play around. he didn't for awhile so i just blew him off. not even 5 minutes later, he comes speeding next to my doing about 95-100. I wasn't gonna take that crap from a car I KNOW i'm faster than, so i downshift to 4th (i was doing 80) and i get next to him, i slow down to about 60 and he counts down from 3 with his fingers obviously (we had our windows down). 3,2,1 and downshift from 4th to 3rd. i just took off, he never even had the slightest chance. I stopped embarrassing him at about 120, i must have been at least 8-10 car lengths. but he just coming back for more, and i just kept handing it to him. the funny thing was, he was by himself, and i had 2 other people in the car, i know that car is slow. i saw in a road and track a couple months ago(i think it was july) that that car was better that the G, all around. but now that i think of it, they were testing the sedan. they never test the coupe. sucks for us coupe owners. oh well, that's my story and i'm stickin' to it!

I wonder why she was only shooting only a 50 shot of nitrous..
you would think she would be shooting at least 75 or higher..

 

i didn't get a good look at her. at first glance, she seemed alright

Beating an RX-8 doesn't seem overly impressive after I watched the Best Motoring video featuring the RX-8. In that video, a WRX (non-STi) and an Integra Type-R totally walked by the RX-8 in the straights (I couldn't believe the Integra could do that to an RX-8). The Skyline coupe (G35) didn't get a chance to walk the RX-8 because it was so far ahead after the first lap.

Keep it off the street you guys, a 350Z was racing a BMW 3 series and the Z was literally cut in half as a result, the driver as well as his two passengers were killed instantly. Car didn't even have plates on it. If you want to race, keep it on the track don't endanger other peoples lives just to prove a point. Our cars are fast, we all know that.
