Angry Need HELP

ok so i just installed MREV2+ISO COPPER 5/16 spacer on my 06 6mt coupe.. and i did all the ecu, pedal, and idle relearn procedure and everything worked.. no CEL. so here is what is wrong...

i was driving my car and when i let off the gas pedal the car slows down then the car has a small slight delay jerk... so.. 1-2-3-4 let off gas and 2 seconds is fine then on the 3rd-4th second the car THEN has a slight jerk when slowing down.. i know my clutch is Good and nothing wrong with it.. so what could be the cause?

oh and 1 more slight issue. when i am at a light car in Neutral i rev it up to 2k and let it drop on its own.. the rpms goes down to normal then goes the rpm needle jerks a little bit down then back up to normal..

any clues?

**YES I DID SEARCH AND NO RESULTS**

This is probably just the ECU trying to get used to the new breather mods. I replaced the entire intake on mine and every now and then I could feel rough idling, but the computer usually fixes itself after a few seconds.
I can't help you with the other problem.

completely reset everything with a computer or just go for a nice long drive, and let the car fix itself if that sounds odd, its basically just learning

How did you tighten your bolts?

which ones did you start on first, outside bolts or the ones in the middle?

you only need about 10-15 minutes generally....

Be careful, don't open your door, your window will not lower since it has no power and has the possiblility of being damaged.

GL, should work. lets us know if you feel any additional power from the upgrades.

loosen up all your bolts

move plenum around to make sure it's loose.

then hand tighten outside bolts first.

after that tighten them with a wrench but don't do each bolt in order. Tighten them across each other.

After you tighten the outside then tighten the middle bolts.

But don't tighten middle too much, just a little bit.

I had same prollem as you when I installed my spacer.

After I re-tightened problem went away.

By tightening middle first you bring outside edges up and create small micro gaps.
Air is sucked into those gaps and throws off your computer. By sealing the outside first you will eliminate this problem and your engine should run fine.

God luck

Another thing. If you installed spacers for the middle bolts.........don't unscrew them completely, just enough so that the plenum is somewhat loose.

Thumbs up

all i gotta say about MREV2 + ISO COPPER 5/16 spacer is WOW... huge difference on power.. i was really skeptical about these mods for about 3 months and i just said ahh imma just go for it.. and I AM A BELIEVER IN MOTORDYNE... you def feel a good power gain in higher RPMS and also i had the stillen pop charger on and the intake sound was a lot louder and then i switched it to the JWT pop charger and sounds even better.. MREV2+ISO copper 5/16 spacer is FTMFW

Angry

i took your advice and i tightened the outside then inside.. then did all the reset procedures..
the slight rpm glitch went away.. BUT i am still having that issue when i am in any gear above 2nd and i just drive normal and let off the gas the car has 2-3 second pause and it has a slight jerk and then it slows down.. Wat could it be? do u think its the throttle body?
