Sorry for the noob question guys but I am in pursuit of a g35 and have come across this 2007 g35 coupe.

It looks good but is it just me or does the trunk/wing look a little off? I know that the taillights have probably been modified but cant seem to figure out the issue with the trunk looking a little weird. Would I be able to put the 03-05 taillights on this year model?

Maybe the angle of the picture? Any input or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Tail lights have overlays on them.

Why would you want to put older tails on a newer car?

 

I think it's the car lot with flags and lighting that make this coupe look a little strange along with low quality camera/phone. That appears to be a very clean OB coupe with a few well thought out mods including an earlier model rear spoiler....tail lights are fine!

Some people like the clean look of the 05 tail lights better than the dimpled look of the 06.

 

I dont mind the dimpled look of the taillights. Its just that these ones have overlays(?) on them. Which I dont know what that is? So im thinking of changing them out to the older ones or the non overlayed ones.

 

overlay is a film (tinted film in this case) that is placed over the headlights/tail lights or windows.

So you can pull it off just as easy as it was installed.

 

i like the older spoiler on it get rid of the overlays tho
