This thread is like a soap opera. It went from "don''t buy that car" too "dont hate on young people" to "blind spots" I guess a pretty bad soap opera, but it was amusing. It made me laugh.
SxSkyLinexS, you are too funny, i enjoyed your comments throughout the middle of the thread the most.
Ill comment on all three issues,

Ill comment on all three issues,
- Don't buy the car
- [SARCASM]hating on young people is fun[/SARCASM],don't want to be flamed by Armin'sG, lol so i wrapped it in sarcasm quotes.

- Blind spots suck and there are some tough ones on the G

Thats what I had for my first "owned" car
All the young kids wanted to race me ( I was 26 at the time). That car was amazing and I learned A LOT with it.
I got my 06 MT G at 29. Almost no one tries to race anymore....
To the OP: I really feel that you want a G35 and I understand why. But I seriously recommend buying an old Honda as a first car since it is REALY EASY to learn stuff with them and very reliable. + they have a lot of space in the engine bay to work. GL doing work on the G, there`s no space!
Keep the old car 1-2 years, then get a G. You will understand "later".

i dont know how much it is monthly cause my mom paid cash for it, it was something around 63k fully loaded. I wish my parents would buy me a brand new WRX lol. I have to work for my things, i have been looking around in the auctions in florida and California and i haven't found the right one yet.
You guys think G35 MT is lucky to have his parents pay for his gas,
the cars that kids get in my school are:
Range Rovers
2010 Tahoe.(his parents paid for 2 W7s in his trunk)
CTVS
2010 Camero SS
2010 Genesis Coupe
2009 Subaru WRX
It's CRAZYY and these kids treat them like S***

I wanted something as awesome as the G too when i was 16 (which was back in 2000), but I drove my mom's 150hp 4 door Grand Am around. When i went to college, I bought that car from them because it was the sensible thing to do. That car lasted me 9 years of my life, and I barely had to drop a dime into it outside of routine oil changes. Only now that I am 25 and have my future pretty much secure did I go out and drop money on a used G. The best part of it was that I had the money to buy something with low miles and a warantee. Plus i have money to maintain it properly.
To the OP: I respect you cuz it sounds like you're taking to heart what people here are telling you. Honestly, I'd put your money into a nice civic or prelude. No one here has a real problem with you going out and getting a G at 16. We would just like to see you make a wise decision and step into one with a clear title and reasonable miles because that's your safest best on a big investment that is your first car. You've also got plenty of time in life to get the car of your dreams. Why do you NEED it at 16? While i disliked my Grand Am cuz it wasn't a 300hp sports car, I loved that car to death b/c it was my first car. You'll have love for it no matter how crappy it is BECAUSE you can say it's yours. Plus you'll learn what safe driving and car ownership is all about in a platform that will be easier on the wallet and less tempting to do stupid stuff in. Trust me, you WILL do stupid stuff because it's your first car. Everyone here can attest to that.
^^^wow, fairly honest response.
& yes you will do at least 1 stupid act with your 1st car @16...G or civic & even if you pay for it yourself. lol...your choice youngin, try not 2 live with regrets if you know what you need 2 do inside. just my .02

dude you have been driving for a month... also just because you started driving a sedan with 385hp does not mean you will be able to drive the G35 Coupe. you are not used to it's handling, blind spots, brakes. ect ect...
