Thumbs up well this might be it, im gonna go look at it tomorow. 05 g35

so i was rolling around looking around on craigslist and then this popped up, now not really did i think i would get my g when i was 15, but i found it. he wanted 9500 with rims, 0r 8k with stock 19 inch rims, i was talking to him, he is a mechanic, and he said its a rebuilt title 66k miles, its missing the little tank for the winshield wipper water thing, then i think its a splash guard? the thing that prevents water to the back, like near the back wheel, and then on the bottom of the front bumper, a little light, so 3 little things. and it has some scratches on it cause some "girl" scratched it. so i told him look as is right now, $7k with the 66k miles and rebuilt keep in mind 05 coupe, he said yes, and well go from there tomorow if i wanna go see it so i might get more of a discount , maybe in the high 6k range, he said it runs great, now I HAVE THE MONEY, my parents arent gonna buy it, i have like high 6k near 7k. i really really want to pick it up, well any who here it is
http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/cto/1614619068.html

my mom says im "rushing it", but oh well my money's

let me know what you think i need advice before i go see it.

Have a mechanic (aside from the seller...) look at it before you buy it.

You don't want it to be a money pit.

Gotta let people make their own choices and mistakes. As they say, the cheap comes out expensive. If you're really thinking of getting this, have $100 handy to take it to an independent mechanic to get a list of everything that needs work...I guarantee it's more than he's telling you.

Most shops will charge around 100 for a total vehicle inspection. If he won't let you take the car to an independent mechanic, then you don't want it cuz he's probably hiding something. Since I'm assuming you know very little about auto mechanics, it only makes sense to have someone trained give the car a once over to tell you the problem spots. The ad itself already raises flags for me b/c it tells you absolutely nothing about the car.

Horrible, horrible, horrible idea. Unless you get that thing checked out by and unbiased PROFESSIONAL, then you're just asking to be scammed. Its like the guy that sold the ps3 box on ebay for 600 bucks. Buyer didnt read the fine print and got legitimately scammed.

GL, but if I were you, I would turn and run right away.
