What car are you getting??
If your getting a new one, then definitely get the genesis coupe.
If you wanna mod the heck out of it get the 2.0T
Theres a guy at cars and coffee with a 2.0T putting over 450hp to the wheels.
As others have mentioned s14 are cool cars.

I just joined a couple weeks ago. I've been lurking for a while now. I've been following this particular thread since its start. I understand what hes trying to do, and I commend him for it. I'm only 20yrs old and I plan on buying a G in a couple weeks. But what in your mind gives him the right to put other people down and insult many people, and when hes insulted or called out on something its ok?
2: He called out Alec because Alec was GIVEN his G and started acting like a complete jerk to the OP RIGHT OFF THE BAT. OP fired back at him (can't say I really blame him for it either) because he's trying to make his own way by paying for the car (or at least most of it) by himself. That's pretty mature for a 15 year old. And I suppose you didn't drive your parents car at 15? You had already bought your own huh?

for now my number 1 choice is g35 coupe in general, cause you never know, i can find a 05 coupe with say 30k miles and still under warranty, and in my price range, i would scoop it, or a 03 or 04, like i said it all depends on whats around me and available by the end of summer or early fall.

But what happens when you spend all your money and your parents are then paying for your gas, insurance and maintenance? Doesn't make him much different from Alec then does it?
3: No didn't drive my parents car or any car at the age of 15. I wasn't fortunate enough to even receive a $5k car when I did get a car at the age of 16. I got my 92 Civic for 1.4k and my parents paid for half of it. I wasn't allowed to drive their cars. So I learned to drive a manual, do maintenance, pay for insurance and gas, all on my own. I drove it for 2 years before selling it because I was put into a company car.

It would make him about $7000 different. Or 9 according to his last post. And you're giving him no credit at all for taking the advice in this thread. He didn't get the one that everyone told him not to get, after all.

right now its g35 coupe or new subaru WRX like a demo or mazda speed 3 demo also, you can usually get like 5-7k off on those and there pretty much new, of course im putting down at least 7k on each, or more, by the end of summer im looking to have atleast 9k, which is when ill hopefully get it. but for now it looks to be g35.

Also, you may do well to consider the Sedan over the coupe. You'll be getting the same power (despite the fact that the sedan is ADVERTISED with less, they're actually the same) and the sedan is also lighter and you can pick one up cheaper. (or less miles/newer than comparably priced coupe)
I got my sedan for $9300 AFTER TAX and everything. Clean title, one owner, only accident was a very low speed one that had messed up the rear bumper cover (completely aesthetic, and didn't cost me much to fix)
