Hey guys I just did an oil change on my car today. Once I got done I started took it off the ramp and took it for a spin. Once I got back I notice there was new oil sitting on the cardboard I used (so I wouldnt get any on the floor on my garage). Then I raised the vehicle and notice nothing was leaking from the filter or drain plug so I began to wonder if I accidently spilled some on the floor. Till I looked on the oil pan on the rear of the driver side I noticed there was some sealent missing. Behind that there was oil all over the engine bay like it was forced out of the pan.
Spoke to dealership said there is nothing they can do cause parts/service is closed on Sunday. They recommended me to call some auto part stores to see if I can find a gasket. I found one at autozone and they will have it for me tomorrow/Sunday.
My question is how to remove the oil pan?? I already removed the ten bolts that hold the pan onto the block but I cant get it removed and need a little advice as how to remove. When I reinstall what else would I need besides the gasket?? Some RTV/sealant etc. Thanks
Daniel C.

well first of all i've never removed the pan off a G, but i have off other cars. If you've removed all the bolts then it just means the gasket created a glue-like seal. Just take a putty knife (thin one) and bring it along the sides to break the seal. Usually this works lilke a charm, but if not you can try beating it with a rubber mallet. Good luck!
^+1 The rtv that nissan uses is very good and will take some work to get it off. We use a razor blade to cut through it and never use a screwdriver or the like to try and pry it off. You will bend the pan and/or scratch the mounting surface.
