Code P2135 - Dealership says not covered by warranty

So, my 2004 g35 went limp on me on the freeway, couldn't go pass 40 mph. All my VDC, CEL, ABS light came on. I pulled the code and it read P2135 DTC Throttle/Peddle Sensor. So I did some searches on this forum and it looks like this might still be covered under the powertrain warranty. I called the dealership today and they said that the Throttle Body Sensor is electric and is not covered under the powertrain warranty. Should I still take it into the dealership or just attemp to fix it myself? I am unsure if it's the TBS, TPS or the peddle sensor? Anyway on trying to find out which one is the culprit? Any help would be appreciated.

i have no idea how to fix that.... but my advice would be to call the next closest dealer and see if they tell you the same thing

Try to reset the throttlebody first, see if that helps.

Thanks, I'll try that and maybe try cleaning it first to see if that solves the issue.
