Stuck in the mud. Best way to tow?

I have a 2005, and tonight I got it stuck in the mud.

Would anyone be able to tell me my options for pulling it from the rear with a tow rope?

If all else fails, I can just call a towing service but I'd like to try with a tow rope and truck first.

Call a professional

I would say call a professional cause it is obvious your decisions are not getting you any where but stuck in the mud. Your car will thank you if you dont rely on your judgment any longer.

Not helpful at all. I'm sure we've all been in situations that we wished we werent in.

Anyway, Yes a tow rope would work.

I think he wanted to know how to hook up the tow rope on the rear of the car not if a tow rope would work. I personally have never towed from front or rear but I'm sure if you got under and found a solid place (around the frame) to place the rope that you could get it out just ensure the car is in neutral.

The thick piece of metal that the rear springs set in, try using that.
