83 in 65 gets you $181 + $39(traffic school fee) +$10(if you choose to pay on-line with your credit card) +$25(webtrafficschool.com who sends your certificate of completion directly to the court which sent you the citation).
This scenario was on the N101 at Coldwater Canyon Exit at 1:20am. You are basically looking at $10 per each mile over the limit. So the previous estimate of $150 for the ticket alone is pretty dead on.

Im telling u man, fight it.
The first ticket of the four that I received and beat, the officer claimed that I was doing 147 on the 57fwy on my friends bike.
If you have the time and money to take traffic school so be it.
but my time and money are too valuable to me to waste it on traffic school and paying for the fine.
