This all depends on how much you like his rims and why is he wanting to trade. If there's anything wrong with these rims you'll be the one losing on this deal. New 20" tires will cost you $1K+ in the near future, another consideration. Your G won't feel the same with those big, heavy chrome rims nor will it stop as quickly. Pass on this (no) deal, my two cents!
Gary

It might not clear your brembos...not to mention it's chrome, heavy, and the face of the wheels flares out in the middle. You might as well change your SN from XLR8 to D-XLR8...haha j/k

Doesn't seem like a bad deal, if they're in good condition. I would do it if I wanted that style of rim. $500-600 for tires and you have a new set of wheels.

the rimsa are ok they have a lil curb rash...i did think about the weight of those rims that worries me...the onlything i think is wierd is that there isno reason as per why he wants to trade... i thought maybe he needs to turn the car in to dealership or somethingbut when i asked him he had no reason.... so do i say negative or wat...

My guess, is you should see them in person. If thats not possible then you should get as many pictures as you can, because they could be tarnished or beaten. Even if he doesnt like the rims and wants to trade, it seems he still wouldnt be willing to lose money. I'd be cautious..
