Door guards left indent??!

I took the door guards off my car today, the drivers side came off fairly easily, the tape underneath is a serious bitch to remove though.

The passenger side however is starting to worry me. I thought the lines were just ghosting from the paint but it feels like a raise in the paint, as if the door guard left an indent where it was installed.

I'm having a shop install my brakes and do the TSB for the clicking axle, do you think they would be able to buff it out for me for a few bucks? Any recommendations?

Anyone that's knowledgeable with a buffer can take a little cleaner and take care of that for ya. If they can't DIY with a little ScratchX on an applicator pad, keep rubbing and wiping off until it disappears. Then throw some quality wax on the door...your done!

Yeah, it does look 10x cleaner without them on, you can actually see the lines of the car.

I'm having the axle click taken care of Monday along with brake pad install and he is going to take the car over to his cousins shop afterward and have him buff it out for me...

I'll be clean in time for the Philly cheesesteak meet up
