my stock xenon bulb went out on my 05 coupe after i hit a potwhole on my driver side. my fog light still works so i know its the ballast and not the bulb. if someone could post a pic where it is that would really help. i dont want to take the bumper for nothing.

 

mount under the headlight assembly you cant miss it. You have to take the bumper to get to it

 

Your fog light working has nothing to do with your ballast. The ballast controls the HID lamp only, has nothing to do with the halogen fogs you have.

In other words, it can still be the bulb.

 

No... it IS the bulb.

Rip your fender wall off and replace both bulbs.

 

ballast really dont go out it is the bulb

 

Ballasts blow all the time, just takes a splash of water.
