2004 Red G35 AEM Scam ??? Please look ***

Hi,

I was talking to my friend today and he was asking me about a 2004 G35 Red that he is considering buying.. It seems EXTREMELY fishy though because he said the lady is only asking for 3000 $ ... She has some elaborate story on why it's priced so low. My friend checked the VIN and it's clean. I saw some pics of the car he showed me , Its 2004 g35 coupe , red and has an AEM intake and it has exhaust I can't remember what kind.. It also has aftermarket chrome rims and has 2 subs in the trunk.. Does anyone know anything about this car, maybe its a member on here ? I'm pretty sure my friend mentioned the owner is from Deleware ? He is really hoping this isn't a scam but I kept telling him this sounds WAY to good to be true.. thanks

If it's local go look at it. Check for proof of ownership. Ask for registration/insurance/Pink slip and ask to see a SS card(just have em cover the numbers) or birth certificate if you're that skeptical. Does sound fishy but cant hurt to look.

lmao@$3000

Even an idiot who knows nothing about the value of cars would know thats a scam. Tell your friend to actually go see the car to make sure it even exists lol

Man just go with your logic. Hence the saying "When it sounds too good to be true.. IT IS"

Watch it man, my friend just got screwed like this, and it was a DEALER. He went to a local dealer, bought a new model eclipse with 35k for only 14 thousand.

Turns out there was a loan or something for 9500 dollars left on the car from a bank that was transferred over to the dealer, then transfered to him once he bought the car. He had no idea and is now stuck with the 9500 dollar fee after he paid 14 thousand for the car already.

Wait what? If someone defaulted on that car, it would make it a repo and the bank resells it to a dealer. There shouldn't be any $$$ left on the car.

There was a lien or loan or something left on the car where it was passed to the dealer when they took over the ownership, then transferred to my friend unknowingly when he bought it. This isn't the first time something like this happened, read articles online about it happening in other places.

Did your friend sign something without knowing what it was? If not, he can sue their asses.

^^yah that **** happens. make sure you have the title, if there is an outstanding load apparently the bank or whom ever has the loan should possess the title.
