wheels america

Anyone ever use them? I happen to live 10 mins from the new york location so I went by with my racing hart rs 722's...they were pretty chewed up from surbs so I went to see what they could do. The guy was honest and said he would not be able to redo them in the silver with polished lip they were currently in because they are one piece and he wouldnt be able to make it work...so after some talking, he sold me powder coating them hyper black. They will be a nice dark shiny silverish black. I saw them today...looking nice, they have to retouch the center caps, so I couldnt get them back today...but I should have them tomorrow...ANyone else use them? They charge a flat rate...120 a wheel to fix all curb rashes, straighten and powder coat any wheel. Not bad imo.
These were the wheels before...I will post an after hopefully tomorrow if the are done. What do you thin the dark rim will look like on the BS car?

Do us all a favor Mike and post some pic when you get them back on. That's about what most wheel repair shops charge $90 to $120 per wheel. The lower price is for just lip polishing/rash repair. Nice looking coupe, don't forget the pic of your new improved wheels....

Wish I could but they are jerking me around a little bit...the powder coat job was pretty horrible. The gap between the lip and the face had drops of paint in it and there were bubbles in the clear coat on the lip. The face had an orange peel look to it....all in all not very happy with them right now. They are knocking money off and promise to have them perfect by tomorrow but we'll see...

Wouldn't go there.
Here in Chicago we have one, and the quality of there work is beyond under par.
I brought my forged Ro_ja's there when I had a light scuff with them, as predicted though since it was forged they didn't want to compromise the integrity of the metals to throw off the balance and whatnot of the wheel.

Yet they still tried to charge me and give me the runaround by having me purchase oem 19" infiniti wheels from them for 1900 without tires. (WHAT!?)..

No thanks. Personally I wouldn't ever go there. It's just my experience with them though, maybe other places can do better.

WhiteMike I think the lesson here is ask your questions and get feedback BEFORE you do something. It isn't going to do you any good at this point for a bunch of members to chime in and tell you how bad that company is.

What's done is done, hope they can fix your wheels to your satisfaction.
