Re: 05 interior pics
Anyone notice that the steering wheel on the AT has perforated leather like the 6MT. I have an '04 AT coupe and the steering wheel leather is smooth all the way around. Does anyone know if the steering wheel buttons will be lighted?

As I predicted on the changes -
1) Took away the cassette which I actually prefered having.
2) The clock moved up...looks worse now...clustered / confusing look
3) SMART KEY - I want that option too...wonder if they improved the keyless entry design...03/04 looks so cheap
4) Aluminum Pedals - easy to install -
5) TACHOMETER - YUCK - Cluttered looking -
6) New Colors
7) Larger rims - prefer my '04 with BREMBOS
Performance Mods...eh easy FIX -
When are the 05 cpe autos suppsed to hit the streets?
OCT?

I would not bet on buying a new car if your going to school for Architecture. Most of the ones I know are Cheap, Cheap, Cheap. The average salary starting out is 25,000-30,000. So if u subtract for taxes, benifits, healthcare shared costs your looking at half that in take home pay.
Unless mommy or daddy is rich, dont really know you so maybe that the case. But I know Architects in thier 40s only grossing 40gs, barely enough to buy this car, and I live in Calif where the average price of a 3 bedroom track house is $475,000!!!

I dont know why they just didnt add Daytona blue from the Z instead of the new color. Did they drop carribean or twilight blue?
The new aluminum console (im assuming it is real) will resist chipping at least, but it kinda looks like a half assed attempt at the S40 console.
The clock had to move, but all the stuff up there could have moved down. The GPS still looks like an afterthought. The best part of the interior of my POS RX8 was that the GPS was a powered clamshell that would hide automatically when the car was turned off. It still seems awkward that the radio is below the ac fuctions. Even GM have better ergonomics in this regard.
I just hope the new wheels resist chipping more than my 18s do right in the center of the spokes.
I was expecting more of a difference, but our resale values should remain pretty high.
