sorry to see that happen bro, good luck....

I think our rear quarter panels are pretty weak though, I got stuck in snow one time and stupidly decided to vent my frustration by uppercutting the panel in pretty much the same spot as your dent is at only a few inches higher. Made a dent bigger than yours believe it or not, and I imagine a hard kick would do even more damage, so I doubt it was kicked.

good news for me and maybe you too is that I was able to hire a dent removal expert for $200 and he managed to get inside the quarter panel from the inside of the car and massaged the metal out with his tools, and it came out great, you could only see the damage from certain angles. And he did it all without even cracking the paint!
So I guess a weak quarter panel is also a good thing since it's easier to massage and work with.
I would suggest trying to do the same thing because the location of your dent I think may be easier to access than mine was, mine was right in the middle basically he had to go at it from the inside of the car, yours you might be able to go underneath the sideskirt or maybe even the wheel well.

anyway good luck and let us know how it turns out

^Absolutely useless and unnecessary. I'd like to see how funny you think it is when someone dents the ***** out of a body line on your car. Karma is a bitch. If you don't have anything constructive to say just don't respond.

OP, if you live near NJ, I can probably get you a good deal on having that knocked out / fixed. I'm working on a group detail / paint / body work buy that we can probably get a great deal on.

Looks like a scratch at the crease... I doubt a rock could have done damage like that, it looks like something hit the 1/4 moving towards the rear wheel...

Why are you frustrated with the G35 community? What did we do?

Sorry to see that on your car, especially a beautiful TB. Check with your insurance policy. On mine, this would fall under comprehensive since it wasn't being driven when it happened, so it would be fixed for free (I have a $0 deductible on comp damage). And maybe think about putting it in storage while you're away. Doesn't cost much, and it'll be protected not only from this kind of stuff but also from the elements.

Stay safe over there.

Dude, chill out. It was a pretty harmless reply. And he never said it was funny that the car was damaged, so the rest of your reply is what was truly useless and unnecessary. Karma might be a bitch, but so is vanquishing a strawman.

Its not really a big deal, I'm just pissed about the principal of things. I'm not frustrated with the G35 community, just wanted to share it with you. I am in jersey alot, my father works at Lexus in Paramus, I go there to get alignments done and stuff. If you can get me a deal on body work that would be great! thanks guys
