as long as its installed right you will have no problems, since insurance is paying take it to the dealer or the best shop in town

insurance only pays 400 max for parts and labor. A OEM windshield is much more than than I'm sure but I found a reputable auto glass company to do the job just hope it don't leak.

i did mine a number of months ago. you'll be fine. Glass replacement companies warranty their work. If you have a problem make em fix it. I doubt you'll have to worry about it though.

Did you all use OEM glass or aftermarket glass? I have to replace my windshield and I'm not sure if I should take it to someone like SafeLite or go to my dealer. (My insurance deductible is high, so it would be out of pocket either way.) Is the quality of the aftermarket glass the same? (The dealer subcontracts the work out to another shop.)

if you are paying just slightly more than what your dedictable is, just pay cash and don't bother with insurance company.
I had aftermarket glass replaced on a sentra 2 years ago, and haven't had any problem since. I have to admit the shop appeared pretty crappy and I only paid 200$ for it.

OP check your insurance policy. A lot of companies will replace windshields at no cost to you regardless what your deductible is.

At had my windshield replaced 3-4 years ago by a window glass company for under $400 total. No issues.

My deductible for any auto glass used to be 0, now it's $100.

I opted for a SafeLite install. They used PGW glass. Looks great, hopefully it lasts and drives nicely.

aftermarket glass is usually imperfect and have waves in them if you look at them from an angle.
