06 g35 navigation
if i were you, and i were considering nav, i would go with garmin tomtom etc or double din. now as far a price a portable gps is the way to go, i have a garmin works great. but if you dont like that idea, a double din would be you next bet ( not the flip screen - way to ugly IMO) its all in your pref but mostly your wallet!
i just did mine, i bought 06 navi for $650, and $100 to install, so i got a deal. now i am missing the antenna for it and i went to the dealer and they wanted $200 for it, i was like wtf. stock navi is bad, not touch screen, really hard to use, only cool thing is pop up screen so not worth it.
I would do the double din navi touchscreen.
I had the old navi and I played around with the new navi. Like everyone else said, +1 on the whole joystick, nontouchscreen crap. Slow and useless. Only cool thing was it pops out. But that gets old fast.

Stock Navi + Double din look cool as hell.

The stock one is hella cool because of the other things it shows like maint. mileage and other stuff. It's a pain to use but it is full of win when it pops up and shows the bursting "Infiniti" logo.. There isn't one chick that hasn't thought it was cool... Then again, my buddy had an aftermarket touch screen that was easier to use AND.... We were watching a Fifty Cents video on it that showed *****... while we were driving.. Very, very cool too. Wish I could have both.
