JWT PC w/ Z-tube OR Stillen CAI w/ Z-tube
Whats up everyone, I just got a new 06 Coupe 6mt blk and I plan on installing the 5/16 plenum spacer with the MREV2 but I wanted to know which Intake would work BEST in performance and sound with those mods. The POPCHARGER or the stillen highflow intake both with Z-tubes. I plan on just starting with the Intake for now but I'm planning ahead and wanna make sure it goes well with the spacer and Mrev2. I've been doing some research but I wanna know other peoples point of view too as well.
Also if you wanna go the extra mile what website has it for cheapest lol I found few places but you guys might know a straight website so let me know.
just a simple ?, no negative feedback like i've noticed people do to "noobs", everyone starts somewhere.
Thanks

Stay with stock box, get a k&n drop in and z tube. I have the same set up and was force to get a jwt pop charger cuz of my relentless strut bar, and notice loss in power right away......But i rather have the handling than power......
Stock has prob the best performance then stillen then jwt. Sound jwt then stillen then oem. But you really aren't gaining or losing any noticeable or appreciable amount of power no matter what people might tell you with just an intake.
This advice only applies to rev-up stock boxes, right? I just took out my airbox for my 03 in trade for a pop charger.

If you're hell bent on getting an intake I'd suggest the R2C. Huge filter that flows very well and the box seals against the hood to help prevent heat soak. And you still get that great sound as well!!
None of the airboxes are poorly designed enough to make going to an aftermarket give any appreciable gains. It really is for the look and the sound. If you only care about performance you can go ahead and upgrade to a revup airbox but I highly doubt you will gain any power from it.
well if you just want pure performance don't bother. but there isnt a large amount of loss with jwt pop charger or any intake really, so i wouldn't worry that you are going to notice a loss in power.
I went from stock airbox to jwt to revup and haven't felt much of a difference. But on hot days I felt the heat soak on the popcharger. It definately got sluggish at stops. However sound wise it was the best out of all of them. I don't really hear the intake anymore but that's because of the exhaust.
