also, i've heard they add about 10 whp, is this the general consensis?

final question, if I get resonated test pipes the CEL light will go off, but with O2 bung will it change the performance of the test pipes? how hard/expensive is it to install test pipes with this O2 bung?
Here is my two cents....as far as the volume of noise being noticed by a cop....I see it like this...Any car, stock or not, if someone slams on the gas it is going to make more noise and be more noticable to everyone around them....If you are constantly slamming on the gas and revving high, yes, the cops WILL DEF notice you, especially with the test pipes...(Remember though, i have test pipes and a Catback exhaust) so I would say be smart about it....Have fun on the on ramps but take it easy and cruise when there is traffic, and go have some fun when nobody is around.... As far as city driving, ive noticed it is alot deeper and I just dont let the rpms get high and its fine, i like it alot actually.
About the O2 bung, someone correct me if Im wrong...that is just where you take your O2 sensor from your cats and screw it in the test pipes....I had no problem doing this and I have no CEL light....And I thought resonated test pipes are just for the sound, I dont think they have anything to do with the CEL light.... I paid 80 bucks for my test pipes with the O2 bung already attached, so it's cheap and easy....
As for 10 whp...I havent put my car on a dyno, but I seriously doubt that, our engines are very hard to get high hp gains cheaply, so a pair of 100 test pipes alone, I just don't see that.....
So i hope i helped out, if anyone notices any misinformation on the O2 bung sensor that i wrote about, please correct me....

hey guys im new to this website but i have an 05, and if you want a good loud sound but have the same puuuuuurrrrrr then you can always just get hi-flow cats like me and have that noise. now i have a full exhaust on but those cats seemed to do the trick on the good purr. hopefully that helps alittle.

I have had my megan Racing resonated test pipes on for about 8 months now. I think they sound pretty good, but there is a bit of rasp mostley in first gear when the revs are high (around 3k). Other than that its a bit deeper than stock

I'm thinking of putting berk tps on my 05 coupe... Are they worth it? How do you like them.

It's been a few years. He's probably parted out by now.
