A/C stops blowing cold air after 1 hr
Recently I've noticed that in long trips (1 hr or more) the a/c stops blowing cold air. I can hear the fans blowing but no air is coming out. I have to turn off the a/c for 5 to 10 min than it works again, but then it last considerable shorter time until it stops again. could it be that the drain is being frozen keeping the a/c from being able to move air into the cabin? if so, how can I fix that?
I had the evaporator unit replaced recently due to a freon leak. freon was recharged after the replacement. so, they may had messed something at the dealership when they replaced the evaporator unit?
Why is it that dealerships always say they can't reproduce the problem? They just don't want to take the dashboard out again to look at the work they did when they replaced the evaporator unit. I think I do need a flux capacitor...
They came up with a low freon and clearing a clogged path. I still haven't field test it. we'll see if they're right or just told me that to shut me up.

its actually a very simple problem. You probably keep your ac set to blow air at a very low temperature and keep your fan speed at low right? What is happening is your evaporator is getting so cold its freezing over with a wall of frost across it and no air is passing through. It happens in humid climates like here in FL where the humidity condenses onto the freakishly cold evaporator and it freezes in place. the reason why it works after keeping it off for 5-10 mins is because it thawed out. Keep the temp a little higher and the fan speed a little higher and it wont happen.
