G35 = no discount at all? doesn't it?

I bought my car a year ago.....04 brand new.....
i have been to 6-8 infiniti sales place....the only thing they told me was "no discount at all......not even 10 bucks" well i finally bought my car at Tustin with a $400 discount....I live in Southern California.....i think there is no discount around this area because its a limit production car??

Well......i have been reading some ppl got a 1k + discount.....how did that happen @@a?

It's a pretty hot car in your area. It's not limited production by any means, really... the coupe was supposed to be, but Nissan saw a good thing and knew it

Since it's become such a hot seller, it's harder and harder to find discounts. Glad you got SOME discount, though!

Bite your tongue! Actually you could have ordered your car through Grubbs Infiniti and they would have honored VPP pricing for you (several thousand off) and you would have had to have paid $600 for shipping. Everyone can get $ off, they just have to go to a state where the G35 is not in "hot demand".

I got $ off in FL at Christmas time. I'd imagine that in most of the Northern states you can get $ off in the winter too.

Re: G35 = no discount at all? doesn't it?

I just bought my 04 six weeks ago with a sticker of $38,900 and I paid just over $37,000 and change. I know this was because of the 2005's coming out soon but it was still almost a $2,000 discount on a relatively exclusive car.

Re: G35 = no discount at all? doesn't it?

I got my black 2003 G (In Febuary 2003) for 34K. It's a black, 6MT Fully loaded w/ brembos and 18's. But my dad's a salesman so he talked the guy down big time. The salesman knew if he didn't give it to us for that price he wouldn't be selling that car, lol.

Thanks - Joey Avino

I'm in So-Cal and my MSRP was $37.5k. I paid $35.2k through Grubbs (w/shipping). Car was in perfect condition on arrival.

Re: G35 = no discount at all? doesn't it?

For 2004's, I would press for at least $1200 off because the new models are coming out. But push hard because the value of the car in 3 months will be much less.

The lack of discounts keeps the resale value high
