REAR-ENDED Update!

The damage is apparently worse than it seemed. The "rebar" and "absorber" were collapsed and need replacing, which according to "my" estimate will add about another $1000 to "their" estimate. "Their" adjuster said it "probably' will not be a problem, but that another adjuster will have to check it out and then they will "probably" take care of everything. We'll see. Ironically, for the first time since the accident, I have experienced some pain in my lower back, and tingling/numbness in my left leg. I had assumed that I was fine, but now plan to see my doctor friend to get him to check me out. That is kind of weird. I expected some neck pain/stiffness (of which I had just a very little), but this lower back pain caught me by surprise. Anyway, right now I am more worried about getting my car back the way it was before the accident. I'll keep you posted on it's progress.

Re: REAR-ENDED Update!

You are absolutely correct Rambo!

By the way Judge, you should be less concerned about your car, think of your spine first, my friend. Yor coupe will be easier to fix than your spine! Good luck

Re: REAR-ENDED Update!

just go to the doctor and make sure you get a note. Even if you have medical insurance, you should be compensated for everything.

Going of the conclusion this is all the other guys fault? His insurance will come to pay you off and try to make a settlement. This will include a payoff for medical, car damage, missed work, rental and any other misc expenses due to the accident.

hope everything goes well.
