Illusion Lip Install

Hey guys my Illusion lip is at the shop getting painted and it will be ready on Wednesday can anyone help me out on how to install it cuz the shop i brought it to said he wont install it cuz he doesn't want to be responsible for aftermarket parts..Soo if anyone could give me some info on how to install it like what to watch out for that would be great...

If I lived in Jersey Id give you a hand... but no such luck.

Did you test fit it before having it sprayed? That saves a lot of headaches and also chipped, cracked paint when installing.

yeah you should have testfitted it prior to having it painted.

Well I kinda test fit it I held it up to the bumper with someone holding each side it look good but I shud have bolted it right

I installed a different front lip, and it was a simple install. I raised the front, had a friend holding one side while i screwed in some bolts on the other side. 2 bolts on each side, then 3 in the middle to prevent it from sagging. Took us longer raising the car, than it did installing the front lip.

^^did you use any 3m tape to help it stay on??or it shouldn't be needed

OP where in jersey are you located? The shop in jersey that I took it too did a great job installing it. They even glued the back of it to the bumper and added extra support brackets. That lip aint going anywhere

yeahh its gettin painted right now..it shouldn't be harder than putting in a plenum spacer and i was able to do that so i should be alright on the install
